The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has invited tenders for the balance works of Sewerage Package 2 in the Gajuwaka area under Phase I of the project.
The scope includes investigation, survey, design, construction, and commissioning of a comprehensive sewerage collection and conveyance system aimed at strengthening sanitation infrastructure in the region. The contract is valued at ₹110.26 crore, with an 18-month timeline for construction.
Upon completion, the project will enter a two-year operation and maintenance phase to ensure efficient performance and address post-construction requirements. The initiative forms part of GVMC’s broader efforts to enhance urban infrastructure, improve public health, and deliver sustainable sanitation solutions.
The last date for submission of bids is April 18, 2026.
